Surviving Covid-19 Times

Updated: Nov 5, 2020

Spending time with family and friends help me through this pandemic. I plan to visit family out of the country, so I can spend more time with them. Also, I plan to hang out with friends, so we can spend time together in our senior year.

One favorite activity I like to do to help me forget what is going around me is to paint. Painting is a favorite activity of mine because it is something I enjoy. So far I have painted different paintings, but I intend to work on more pieces. Though I do not have much time to spend on painting, I try my best to make time for it.

I look forward to running errands on the weekend. Though running errands is not the most interesting to most people, it is an activity that gets me out f the house. Running errands such as buying groceries or things that I need for my house are somethings that I do every weekend. Being in the house all the time is not healthy and can damage someone's mental and physical health, so that is why I rather at least go run errands. I enjoy doing my errands whether it's walking to or driving to do them.

Before the pandemic I always looked forward for the weekend because I would always do fun activities with family and friends, but now the only thing I look forward to is running errands because all the days feel the same.

Another reason I like running errands is because it gives me a chance to be alone without being surrounded with my chaotic family. Though I do appreciate my family, I also appreciate the time I spend alone doing my own things. Going places alone helps me take my mind off the stress of everything.

I do hope things get better, so I can go back to do the things I used to do and enjoy.
